The Winter Edit was created around the quiet pleasures of colder days: late dawns, early sunsets, firelight, cashmere blankets, books left open beside the sofa, spiced drinks warming in the hand and rooms filled with golden light.

Each fragrance captures a different part of the season — the comfort of cinnamon, nutmeg and gingerbread, the gentle sweetness of pumpkin spice, and the crisp, evergreen freshness of spruce. Together, they create a collection that feels nostalgic, inviting and quietly festive.

These three small candles celebrate the rituals that make winter beautiful: lighting a candle before reading, gathering at home, preparing for guests, or simply turning an ordinary evening into something more atmospheric.

Ingredients

Ahloki’s candles are vegan-friendly and cruelty-free. Free from beeswax, palm oil and paraffin-derived ingredients. Our wax is made from rapeseed oil combined with soy wax. This blend is what makes the candle burn efficiently and effectively. Blended with the finest quality of pure essential oils and safe synthetic ingredients, made in small batches, hand-poured in England. We follow rigorous product sustainability standards, ethical sourcing & good manufacturing practices. We use a lead-free cotton wick in all our candles.

Ahloki uses 100% natural sustainable plant waxes with no parabens, no sulfates, no phthalates, no formaldehydes, no known or suspected endocrine disruptors, no additives, no dyes, and no preservatives. All our ingredients are covered by IFRA.

We cannot guarantee that our candles are nut-free.

Benefits & Care

Our sense of smell (or olfaction) is our most primitive sense, and one of the most powerful senses. It is the strongest sense that is intricately linked to memory. The sense of smell is the most important trigger of memory. Our olfactory bulb is part of the brain’s limbic system, which is in the same parts of our brain that affect emotion, memory recall and creativity. Fragrance has the ability to influence our brain, power to change our moods, enhance feelings of webbing by triggering the body to relax, escape to a happy place, recall happy moments and elevate the spirits. Through olfactory & aromatherapy, we want to encourage mindfulness & meditative living, being intensely aware of your “now” and attend to your feelings in the present moment. Our candles give you the gift of time.

The first time you light your Ahloki candle, please burn until the wax melts to an even pool that surrounds the edges of the glass jar. This will help keep the top of the wax smooth, preventing an uneven burn. Keep the wick trimmed to a quarter of an inch before each burn, as this will help prevent any smoking and will keep any residue from dropping into the wax. Do not burn your candle for more than four hours at a time.

Never leave a lit candle unattended. Keep your candle out of the reach of children and animals. Keep candle away from draught. Always keep your candle away from anything that could be a fire hazard. Always trim the wick or clean the wax once the candle has gone cold. Keep lit candles at least 3 inches apart and place them on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Do not move a burning candle. Always store the candle in an upright position away from direct sunlight or heat.

Ahloki is proud to be plastic-free, cruelty–free and vegan-friendly. We are committed to doing the very best for the planet. We use no animal ingredients or ingredients tested on animals. Ahloki products are made from natural sustainable plant wax and vegetal oils. We maintain a low carbon footprint by using British manufacturers and suppliers who also follow environmental conscious, ethical practices. All our products are made using ingredients that are kinder to us and the environment. Our ethos to reduce, reuse, recycle and upcycle echoes throughout what we do.

All our packaging is made from recycled or reused material. We use 95% recycled glass. All material is 100% recyclable & biodegradable. We follow the British Classification, Labelling & Packaging regulation.

Our wax seals are made from a blend of sustainable wax, bio-resins, potato starch and gum guar derivatives. All our ingredients are covered by IFRA (International Fragrance Association) code of practice.

Our reusable cotton bags are all made from natural cotton, by a charity in Jaipur India. These bags help eliminate the use of plastic and the cost that goes into cardboard boxes now helps little children in India.
